BrandGossip: Keeping tabs on consumer generated content

TBWA Amsterdam, the dutch-based arm of one of the advertising agencies I work with, has launched an innovative new program to help marketers keep track of user-generated content relating to their brands on the internet.  BrandGossip offers a one-stop window into the Web 2.0 world, eliminating the need to continually troll through google to find out what consumers are saying about your brand.

Keywords typed into the BrandGossip search field trigger a series of search tools that pull out news items, blog entries, images and more relating to the requested brand name or topic area.  The output is organized into a series of simple panes for easy surfing.

The application is still in early beta and most of the delivered content is in the agency's native dutch language, but the early results look very promising.
